NEW YEAR'S EVE 31st Dec 2009
Our second year at the Rendezvous Hotel (NZ's largest hotel) kicked off at 7pm. There were plenty of return guests who enjoyed the party last year and this year everyone was dressed for a masquerade. The quality of the attire was more than matched by the venue which looked superb, and the food which was very high class indeed. Guests certainly go their moneys worth.
We had the dance floor packed from the very first song until we finished exhausted at 1:00am. At the stroke of midnight everyone was able to see the Sky Tower fireworks from the hotel's deck and most agreed it was a little underwhelming - unlike the party going on inside!

NEW DRUMS!
Nick has splashed out on a high tech new drum set (see photo above) and wow! Does it sound great! Adding an even further depth to the Custodian's sound, it looks good as well. Dominating the middle of the stage, the new drums squeeze Jamie and Bernie off to the side, but they don't mind as the quality of the performance is so much enhanced. If there was an award for the most high tech band in New Zealand, then the Custodians would surely win it hands down.
An impressive array of high tech electronic equipment designed to get the best out of the instruments, provide a full, balanced sound and showcase the considerable talents of the band is one reason the Custodians of Classic Rock are in hot demand for weddings, birthday parties, Christmas functions and more. The other is the great variety of songs played that cover almost every genre. Enought to keep everyone happy.

Te Aroha RSA
Hi Bernie, Nick and Jimmy.
WOW what a great night at the RSA. Even the best event organiser could not arrange an exit like that! Te Aroha RSA is alive and kicking with Elvis.
Its been 10 years since the Te Aroha RSA has had such an incredible night.
The night the Custodians and Elvis came to town, right from the 1st song to the grand entry by ELVIS on the president's VXT 1300 to the even grander exit by the same method, but if you want to to know why a grander exit, you will have to visit the Te Aroha RSA and listen to the tales about how Elvis left the building.
Bernie, Nick & Jimmy thanks for a great night and we look forward to your return in early 09.
Regards
Russell Smith

PGG Wrightson Real Estate Conference
Dear Bernie,Just wanted to drop you a note to thank you for looking after us at our ‘Making It Happen’ conference held in Auckland at the Heritage Hotel. Firstly I would like to say from the outset we found your team very easy to work with and would like to commend you on going to visit the venue before coming back to us with your recommendations which were very helpful.
We then required an onsite meeting with you to go over the nights events as this was our gala awards evening and again we must say that it was very easy working with you and nothing seemed to be a problem.
On the night, well what can we say, you filled the gaps admirably where necessary during the breaks in our awards and at the conclusion of the awards ceremony the dance music started and the dance floor was immediately filled and you continued to have our troops boogying the night away until the conclusion of the evening.
Bernie, I just want to pass our thanks onto you and the guys and certainly would use your services again. Please feel free to pass on my contact number to anyone who is thinking of utilising your services and would like to chat.
Yours sincerely
